Side note: I'm actually picking guitar up again after so long. =) (John, I know you're going to say finally..)
If you have clicked on some of my friends' blogs under the
awesome reads section at the side, you might have noticed that some of them have lose the passion to blog, or to be exact, have quitted blogging.
Some, but not all, have lose the passion due to the busy-ness in life, finding no time to sit down, relax and blog about even once a week. Priotized in something more than blogging, having no time to blog and feel that blogging has no longer become a part of them. And so there goes their blogging passion.
This thought actually came to me through a notebook.
This is the notebook that I used to jot down notes on for church, youth meetings and college group meetings back in Kuching. Feeling bored at one time, I flipped open the book and glanced through a few sharings.
The one I'm highlighting here, is about passion for God. I realised that if you stop serving in church or sharing to people about how great is our God in everyday life, your passion for God can just die, real fast. You feel separated from God and there goes the passion. It gets worse when you focus on studies or club activities even more till u have no time for God. Yes, in the past, sin separated us from God, but Jesus had took the initiative to suffer for us so that we reconnect to God.
Ya, when I first entered college, I was quite conscious in my studies and thinking that going to church once a week is enough. I know that I can pray and ask Him for help when I have problems. And it gets worse from then.
I thank God he is faithful for us to come back whenever we are lost, like the parable of Prodigal's son.
Good friday today. Remember that it is because of love, Jesus was willing to be on the cross. He was able to endure when he was hit each time because His love is more than enough to cover the pain.
