The Mood Is Here

Side note: My two slippers out of two slippers I have over here are not wearable anymore so recently at the same time. Then my water boiler can't boil up water anymore. Don't have much luck, huh?

Well, although I have fewer subjects and credit hours this semester, my schedule is most packed this semester. Don't know how's undergraduate like too, knowing it's busier and tougher.

At this week, I tried my best to do all the works available and revised what's learnt BECAUSE I'm going back for next whole week. With a self-declared break somemore hahaha because I don't know how's the leaves applied status yet. I know I'll get it when I back here again with quizzes and assignments coming up.

I'm going to play, visit and enjoy lots like it's a long break I have. Especially when I can see my sis again since she's now working away from home.

Been around three months ago since I got home and seriously need a short break after 3 months already.

C'mon, I want to go back already. CNY CNY.

Happy chinese year to you all! Hope the tiger year will be a prosperous and fruitful year for each and every one of you! (I'm not so a believer in these kind of things though =p)

As It Turned Out To Be

Just started first week of new sem. Pretty packed. Moved to new hostel with better connection. Yeah. Started a little work on events.

Just want to share a little on last week. Few months before last week, I was notified that I was compulsory to be kidnapped to join a camp - STE together with a big number of around 100++.

So on the 17th of Jan, we travelled from uni, to Puduraya then to KLCC, knowing and prepared at heart that - "It's going to be just one boring week." feeling.

There we were at KLCC, on board to the assigned buses and off to Port Dickson we know we're being kidnapped to.

The sceneries were actually quite nice. Got involved with many activites and games. What I can say is, the camp really brought me many insights, as to which part of me I have to be aware of and change.
For example, the couldn't-care-less personality I used to have. Learnt a lot about leadership mainly because I was randomly selected as one. Through many intereactions as a team, I learn better about leadership. Like the X and Y game really striked me.(Guess only Samba 6 people knows why, haha.) Got motivated a lot and also have my attitude toward other cultures better than before.

Enjoyable camp. Very.

P.s. Notice the kidnapped words mentioned? Just to indicate the being forced to feeling haha.

Basketball Lesson

Failed. Tried to give a new template like HTML and XML to my blog but failed after two hours last night. Googled the problem and it says new blogger memang like that. Why I register for new blogger in the first place?Troublesome, which forgones some stuffs if I want a template put on. Should I switch to Wordpress, which offers up to 73 cool basic templates? or tumblr? Blogger never creates a new template anymore after so long. Whatever liao la.

Today was pretty awesome. Played Left 4 Dead for the first time. So does basketball. It's not easy though. Maybe I went for extreme sports today. An hour of badminton then another hour of basketball. Need more stamina. The cool thing is, played two games of basketball and two people taught me many principles.

"Cannot go and bounce anymore after you hold the basketball with two hands."- Double tap I think.

"After getting rebound from opponent's failed shot, need to bounce to outer circle first, then shoot."

"Push and force your way to shoot it."

"Get in the open."

The only sports I really engage in is badminton only all the while. Yeah, the third one is quite something striky. Mainly it's my personality lor. I'm not really...agressive.

Ya, somehow I learnt from basketball that I really need to be more with authority in life. Otherwise, you'll only lose out.

Like the lesson I learnt from driving a car. You don't be daring enough you can't even get on the road. (and in life.)

Leaving for STE on sunday morning. Won't be online for a week I think. I'm leaving laptop behind.

2010 Resolution

Whoa, just finished my last final paper for my second semester of my Foundation this morning. It feels weird though. Played some games on the laptop to so called relieve stress, but don't feel so thrill at all after a few levels. More weird. Wanna go for sports but it's raining right now, so heavily in UTP.

+Well, at least the connection's better now since Propana people moved to V1 so that the new batch can move in I think on coming saturday or sunday.

Seeing some news on the web and found out that more churches are targeted already. Even in Miri. I always thought East Malaysia is more safer as we over there are always being claimed more "rural". And it gets more serious with more states, Taiping, Johor...and lawyer's office being broke into. Enough about it, we really need to pray hard for God's will to be done.

------
On a side note, I decided to make the first resolution I ever had although it's quite late.( Like who cares, do I even need to conform to what's the crowd doing?) Mainly because I think last year I didn't accomplish much things worthy enough to be mentioned. Ok, so maybe in 2009 I:
- Got myself a driving license
- Didn't get a part-time job
- Applied many scholarships, prepared many, built up interview skills
- Studied away from home, independent
- Nothing more worth to be said...=(

Resolution #2010
1. Get closer to our Father. (Being quite cold on and off for the past half year.)
2. Be more caring to my family, friends, those around me.
3. Have better time management skills to balance activities in life.
4. Be even more outspoken.
5. Be even more independent.
6. Even more sports.
7. Get 3.5 for whole Foundation year. (yeah, at least. a bit kiasu hor?)
8. Have some sense of humor.
9. Get my blog a cool theme. (Been thinking since 2008. omg.)
10. Blog more?(Yeah provided good internet all the time I hope lor.)

Hmmm...

In these few days, I'm peacefully preparing and studying for my finals, which will start in two more days. Right at this period of time, it isn't so peaceful elsewhere. It shocked me when ONLY last night then I know that yesterday 3 churches are burnt down in K.L. due to the recent hot issue.

I only knew about this hot issue somewhere last week but I didn't follow-up on the news. It's getting so serious.

When you look at the news today, you see that our King has announced to us to respect all houses of worship. Our Prime Minister also said that he condemned the arson attacks. It seems that things are going to be peaceful again as we are told to wait for the results of the council on the hot issue.

But the thing I'm quite concerned is, things get more violent than we expect these days. I can't even imagine how things are gonna be in future if there are more issues that are similar to the current one being raised up.

Pray for the churches, brothers and sisters. Do not waste time pointing fingers.

Biscuits Are Fun!

Funny title?

Why don't you find out if I really mean it.

It started like this. While busying last night compiling Sport Science Project, I felt hungry. I took a small pack of biscuits. Then not long after, I go laughing to myself.

It look so normal hor? Just a pack of Munchy-branded cookie-styled milk biscuit. (Wait, have you figured it out?)

There you have it. The two words that kinda caught my attention. (It's so obvious now, haha.)

Anyway, just to keep track of things I'll be doing in the coming times:

I'll have finals next week.

Then, I'll have STE programme(Petronas Scholar Camp) during my one-week semester break.

Next, I'll start my third trisemester of my Foundation straightaway. Then studying for about 3 weeks, then back to Kuching I will for CNY!! XD

That's all for now. Just feel kinda bad that I have quite a high chance of still sticking at my hostel now until my Foundation ends, which is around the mid of May this year. Hope the Internet speed can be as fast as today most of the time.
